Lesson sections allow users to display lessons in a slider, grid, or list format.
Lessons can be filtered by category, list of IDs, or by showing the user favorites.
Using multiple lesson sections one under the other is a common pattern used to create a Netflix-style membership dashboard.

Filter Type
Filter By Category
Display lessons from a specific category. Enter the category name (case-sensitive) in the “Filter Value” below.
Filter By Post IDs:
Display lessons matching the provided IDs. Used to display posts regardless of their category.
Enter a list of post IDs comma-separated, no spaces.
Find your lesson post ID by opening up the lesson for editing on the Kajabi backend. The page URL will include the post id “…/posts/9895997/edit”.
The number between post/ and /edit is your post ID.

Paste an ID of a playlist created via the Tag Manager. Items will appear in the defined order.
Filter By Tags:
Enter a tag or list of comma separated tags - to display posts that match any of them.
Filter By Custom Fields:

Sub Categories
Depending on your content structure, choose how to include sub-categories:
Lesson Fields
Control the fields to display for each lesson. Toggle the Image, Title, Body, Category, Duration or set the Duration Postfix.
Completion
Hide Completion Bar: Toggle this option to show or hide the completion information and bar displayed at the bottom of each lesson.
Hide Overlay Icon
: Toggle this option to show or hide the overlay and a check icon over lessons marked as completed or when over X percent of the video has been watched.
Mark Complete after (percent): Consider the post as completed after the user watched more than X percent of the video. By default, Kajabi considers a lesson as completed only when a user has completed watching 100% of the video. This option overwrites this behavior.
Show All Button
Display a Show-all link or button above or below the slider or grid results linking to a full page displaying the matching lessons
This dedicated page is generated automatically and mirrors the same order shown in the slider.
You can limit the number of posts shown in a slider, by setting the “Max Number of Matches to Include” option value. The dedicated page will always show the full list of matching items.
This is especially useful for large content libraries—and extremely important for mobile, where the Show All button plays a key role in navigation.
Regardless of your show-all button settings, when a user clicks on a post from a slider or a dedicated page, and you’ve chosen to include a playlist on the post page, the Post Page Playlist will reflect the same items and order. It will also carry over the slider’s title. If autoplay is enabled, videos will continue playing in order—creating a seamless, uninterrupted experience.
*Not supported for filter type Post IDs.
Show-All: Enable or disable the show all button
Show-All Text: Set the button’s text

Related Posts keep users engaged by automatically displaying additional content connected to the post they’re viewing. It’s a simple but powerful way to boost content discovery, session time, and overall user experience.
Only works on post pages.
Make sure to select “Related Posts” in the “Filter Type” option above.
Choose one of three matching methods:
Slider Settings
Auto play: When checked, the slider will automatically slide to the next every few seconds (as set in the delay option).
Loop: When checked, the slider will continue to the first items after reaching the last item, providing the user an “endless scroll” experience.
Delay (Milliseconds): Set the value to 3000, and the slider will auto-scroll every 3 seconds.
Transition Speed (Milliseconds): Control the speed of the slide animation.
Pagination: Pagination is a line of dots displayed under the slider indicating the number of items. Select to display No pagination, on Mobile Only, on Desktop Only, or on both Mobile and Desktop.
Arrows: Allow users to scroll the items by clicking the left and right arrows. Arrows are also a visual indication implying the existence of additional items. Select to display No Arrows, on Mobile Only, on Desktop Only, or on both Mobile and Desktop.
Overwrite Images: By default, each item (lesson) will display its corresponding image. Paste in a list of image URLs comma-separated to overwrite the images with the provided images.
