Pending Drip Message Popup

Display a popup message to students who have completed all available content, informing them of the time remaining until the next lesson becomes available. Include a personalized and motivating custom message to keep them engaged and excited for what’s next.

Setting a Custom Pending Drip Message

To add a custom Pending Drip Message for a specific lesson:

• Open the post edit page (where you set the lesson’s title, video, and description).
• Add a #completion-message: tag at the bottom of the post-body.
• Example: #completion-message: Welcome to this lesson!

The content following the #completion-message: tag will replace the {custom-message} placeholder in the “Message Template” (see below).

You may use multiline content and include HTML markup

When the “Show Only if a Custom Message is Included in the Post” option is enabled, the popup will only appear if the post contains a #completion-message tag.
If this option is disabled and no custom message is provided, the "Default Custom Message" (see below) will be displayed instead.

Message Template

The message template defines how the Pending Drip Message will look and allows for dynamic placeholders.
Placeholders include:

• {post-title}: The title of the current lesson.
• {parent-module}: The parent module for the lesson.
• {main-module}: Even if the direct parent is a sub-module, this tag will be replaced with the main module the sub-module belongs to.
• {user-first-name}, {user-last-name}, {user-full-name}: The student’s name.

Default Custom Message

If no #completion-message: tag is included, the Default Custom Message will be used to replace the {custom-message} placeholder, provided the “Show Only if a Custom Message is Included in the Post” option is unchecked.

Countdown Settings

This feature adds a countdown to the Pending Drip Message, showing when the next lesson will become available.
Note:The countdown works only for daily drip schedules.
For other drip schedules (e.g., weekly), uncheck the “Include Countdown” option to avoid incorrect countdowns.

To ensure accuracy, check your Kajabi Site Settings > Drip Settings for the correct drip time and timezone, and enter the same settings here.

Edit Mode

Enable this option to preview and customize the message in the page builder. Disable it after completing your edits.

Disable Welcome Message

This option completely disables the popup, ensuring it does not appear at any time.
