We have included four distinct badge styles that you can use as a starting point for customization or as-is. Above each image in the table below, you will find the name of the badge section (e.g., "Badges - MB2"). To add a badge style to your template, click the “Add Section” button and find the corresponding name.
Icons The Icons style is the simplest of the four styles to use. With Icon-style badges, anyone can easily add icons that reflect their niche and the symbolic meaning of the badge without needing graphic tools or skills. Simply replace the provided images with any blank PNG icon, and the system will change the icon’s color to match your template. To set the color, use the “Overwrite Icon Color” setting in the badge section (a section-level setting, not block-level). A great source for free icons is FlatIcon.com. If you choose to use the “Overwrite Icon Color” feature, we recommend downloading black icons.
Medals Medals are more generic and can be used straight out of the box. Simply change the badge text to reflect the badge’s purpose, and you're done. To use medals in different colors, you can download a pack of medals or use the free Canva Duotone color-replace tool.
Duotone Duotone Icon badges are examples of more refined, aesthetic badges that can be created by anyone without the need for a designer. Search for two-tone icons on FlatIcon.com or other icon sources, then use the Canva Duotone color-replace tool to match the accent color to your template. We’ve included four generic badges that you can customize by replacing the accent color with the Canva Duotone color-replace tool.
Custom This is an example of badges created with your own custom-designed images. We’ve included four generic badges that you can customize by replacing the colors using the Canva Duotone color-replace tool.
